World Leadership Dialogues
World Leadership Dialogues (WLD) are high-level sessions on current topics in public health intended to complement the plenary themes and sessions. The purpose is to provide in-depth perspectives on key issues integrated into public health strategic plans/policies/health budgets perspectives.
WLD applications can be submitted by (health) organizations, national associations, working groups or sections of WFPHA, EUPHA, SITI, or commercial parties. WLDs are part of the Congress programme and free of charge for delegates to attend. Organizers are charged a fee to cover the costs of room rental, technical equipment and support. Organizers will also have to cover the costs of travel, accommodation and registration of speakers, panellists and moderators.
WLDs will be linked to the name of the organizations leading the session. WLDs will be run during a dedicated time slot and generally not in parallel with other sessions (i.e. workshops, parallel sessions, posters walk etc.).
The call for WLD proposals is open until 15 January 2020. The Congress Management Committee (CMC) is in charge of selecting the WLDs.
